Loyalty programs

Loyalty programs that bring customers back, wired into your email and SMS.

Smile.io and Yotpo loyalty set up properly and connected to Omnisend or Klaviyo, so points, VIP tiers, referrals and reviews turn first orders into repeat orders instead of sitting unused in a widget.

The short answer

Why most loyalty programs don't pay off

Most loyalty programs fail for one reason: customers forget they're in them. The app gets installed, points pile up, and nobody is reminded to use them. A loyalty program earns when it's designed around your margins and communicated through email and SMS: points balances, rewards ready to use, points about to expire and tier upgrades, sent at the right moment.

What gets set up

A loyalty program built to earn, not just to exist

Six pieces, planned together so rewards drive repeat orders without eating the margin.

Margin-safe program design

Earning rules and rewards sized against your margins, so the program pays for itself instead of becoming a permanent discount.

VIP tiers

Tiers that give your best customers a reason to spend a little more, with perks that feel exclusive rather than cheap.

Referrals

Give-and-get referral rewards that turn happy customers into your cheapest acquisition channel.

Reviews and UGC

Review requests timed after delivery, with reviews and photos fed back into flows and campaigns as social proof.

Loyalty flows

Points balance, reward ready, expiring points, tier upgrade and win-back emails and SMS that keep the program top of mind.

Connected data

Points, tiers and review activity synced into Omnisend or Klaviyo, so segments and flows can use them.

The flows that do the work

Loyalty emails and SMS every program needs

These run automatically once the loyalty app and your email platform are connected.

FAQ

Loyalty program questions

Which loyalty apps do you work with?

Mainly Smile.io and Yotpo, both set up in full and integrated with Omnisend or Klaviyo. Other loyalty apps are possible on request.

Will a loyalty program eat my margin?

Not if it's designed properly. Rewards are sized against your margins and average order value, and redemption is monitored after launch, so the program drives extra orders instead of discounting orders you'd have had anyway.

Is my store ready for a loyalty program?

It makes most sense once you have a steady base of returning customers. If most revenue still comes from first orders, the flows and list growth usually come first, and the audit will tell you which.

Does loyalty work with Omnisend?

Yes. Smile.io and Yotpo both connect to Omnisend and Klaviyo, so points, tiers and reward status can be used in segments and flows.

Can you take over a loyalty program we already have?

Yes. We review the earning rules, rewards and tiers against your margins, then add the flows that make customers actually use it.
